This post is all about best time to visit the Acropolis in Athens and avoid the queues. The key to beating the queues and avoid the crowds is to either go before 9am or after 5pm especially during summer. The reason is that cruise ships start to make there way into Athens and the first attraction people tend to visit is the Acropolis.
The picture above was taken after I made my way to the Acropolis after 6pm with hardly anybody in the shot. This is nearly impossible during the day when the Acropolis is packed with visitors.
