The statue of Imre Nagy in Budapest is located in Vértanúk Tere overlooking the Hungarian Parliament. The Imre Nagy Statue can be seen in a tiny square next to Kossuth Square. Imre Nagy was the Hungarian Prime Minister on two occasions with his second term ending during the Hungarian Revolution. Imre Nagy became a symbol of freedom and was tried and executed in 1958.
