Mouse Island or Pontikonisi as it is known is an island off the coast of Kanoni in Corfu. Kanoni is a direct translation for cannon. The church Panagia Vlacherna can be seen below Kanoni which was built in the 17th century and connected to the island with a pier.
Boats depart from the church regularly that takes you to Mouse Island and costs €2.50. You are able to walk around Mouse Island and get great views of Corfu. Mouse Island also has a little shop where you can purchase souvenirs and snacks. Panagia Vlacherna and Mouse Island were also locations for the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only (1981).
