The Florence Cathedral Church is one of the architectural highlights of Florence in Italy. Based on Gothic and Renaissance Architecture, work on the Florence Cathedral Church started in 1296 and ended in 1436 and includes a dome. The Florence Cathedral Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known as The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore or Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower.
